John Freeman
1812-?
John Freeman was born in Prickwillow, Cambridgeshire and was possibly the son of John and Phoebe Freeman.
John married Mary Grey and together they had ten children. The couple and their first three children appear on the Witchford 1841 census, living at Cold Moor Farm, along with two servants. John is noted as an Agricultural Labourer. By the time of the 1851 Census, the family had moved from Witchford to Coveney and John is noted as a farmer with 45 acres of land.
By the time that three of his children married in 1865, John had died.
