Job Skeels
1777-1860
Job Skeels' origins are not clear. In 1841, the Swaffham Bulbeck census shows that the 65yr old fishmonger was born in Cambridgeshire.
By 1851 (his final census), a 74yr old Job, now a 'former Horse Breaker' states that he was from Brentford, Middlesex.
I have yet to find an appropriate baptism for Job in Middlesex, but have found one in (Great) Yarmouth, Norfolk, showing him as the son of William and Mary Skeels.
Armed with this information, I've completed the below as if the Yarmouth origin was correct. This could be wrong, but for now, it's my best guess.
Job married Elizabeth (presumed née Richardson) of Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire and together they had at least one child.
