William Hale
(1621-1692)

William Hale was the oldest of the six known children of William Hale and his as-yet unknown wife, of the small village of Knotting in Bedfordshire, England.

Little is yet known of William's early life, but by the time he was in his 20s, William had married a woman so far known only as Elizabeth, and they began raising at least four children over a period of 15 years.

Elizabeth pre-deceased William in January 1692, and he followed her to the grave 10 months later, aged approximately 71 years.
