Ida Louisa Dewsbury
(1898-1986)

Ida Louisa Dewsbury (later Ida Louisa Cross) was the youngest of the twelve children of publican and miller Henry James Dewsbury and his wife Mahala Randall who ran the chain ferry across the River Ouse at Barway, Cambridgeshire, England.

Ida married Thomas Robert Cross. Thomas is erroneously noted as 'Thomas Robertson' on the Banns register for Little Thetford.

The couple had two children, but little else is currently known about them.

Thomas pre-deceased her by 23 years in 1963, and they were buried together in 1986 in Little Thetford's cemetery.
