Giles Hale
1703-1764
Giles Hale was the youngest of the eleven children of Thomas Hale and his second wife Elizabeth (seemingly née Fairy) of Knotting, Bedfordshire, England.
Giles was working as a 'Grasier' by the time he married his wife Margaret White at Knotting, and he appears to retain this occupation throughout his life.
The couple seemingly remained in Knotting, and had at least five children between 1729 and 1737.
It is not clear what happened to Margaret after the baptism of the couples' final child in 1737. There is no burial or re-marriage in Knotting against her name.
