Michael Nicholas
(1778-1830)

Michael Nicholas was the sixth of the twelve known children of Trew Nicholas and his wife Mary Taylor of Little Downham, Cambridgeshire, England.

Michael married Frances Deeks in 1806, and the couple settled in Little Downham to raise a family. However, despite having 5 children, only 2 (at most) survived their first year. Sadly, their mother - Michael's wife, died too just before Christmas 1817.

Widower Michael eventually went on to re-marry in 1820, this time to Elizabeth Prior, and the couple added at least one more child to the family.

Michael died in 1830, aged just 55 years.
