Rebecca Watson

Whilst it's not certain as to where Rebecca Watson (later Rebecca Giddings) was born, there are clues to suggest that it may have been either the village of Helpringham or (more likely) Fleet, both of which are in Lincolnshire, England.

The earliest record I have found of her is her marriage to Thomas Giddings in 1787 in Fleet.

The couple settled in Fleet, where they became parents to two sons before moving their family to March, Cambridgeshire, at some point between October 1791 and December 1793.

The couple continued to grow their family, seemingly having five children in all.

It is unclear as to what became of Rebecca or Thomas after the baptisms of their children.
