Eliza Cross

Eliza Cross (later Eliza Lavender) was the fifth of the eleven children of Jacob Cross and his first wife Mary Ann Newell of Ely, Cambridgeshire, England.
When Eliza was just 13 years old, her mother died. By the time she was 18 years, her father had re-married.
Eliza married John Lavender of St. Mary's Street, Ely and the couple stayed in Ely to raise at least nine children.
