Edward Franklin Giddings

Edward Franklin Giddings was the sixth child of Daniel Watson Giddings and his wife Sarah Jane Franks of March, Cambridgeshire, England.

Edward married Susan Payne of Ramsey, Cambridgeshire, and by the time of the 1871 Census, they were living at A Furlong, Little Downham, Cambridgeshire with five children and one more on the way.

When Edward and Susan's oldest child Eliza died in early 1889, leaving behind at least three children, they took in and raised her youngest - Herbert G Eggitt. Herbert continued to live with them through the 1891-1911 censuses.
